Magical Desert Oasis!
“Magical setting for our group of 4 friends! Peaceful eclectic Southwestern ambiance with inviting outdoor seating/lounging, artistically designed natural gardens, abundance of bird song. Cafe across the street, Coyote Pause, serves delish & fresh foods with a Southwestern flair. Proximity to Saguaro National Park & Desert Museum a plus.”

Magical
“The location is remote and gorgeous. The surrounding mountains are beautiful at sunrise and sunset and the property is filled with quail, hummingbirds and all kinds of desert birds, enjoying the bird feeders and water fountains all over the Inn. The walking trail behind the Inn is spotless, well-marked and full of amazing saguaro, cactus and native plants of all kinds. The nights are quiet and the stars will amaze you.
The little touches included everywhere were exceptional: a bowl of fresh citrus from local trees in the great room, built-in DVD players with a fun collection of westerns to borrow for free and so much local art covering every square inch that you spend most of your time just wandering around admiring the walls. The art shops and the consignment store on site are also full of unusual art and clothing at surprisingly good prices.
We loved our time here and highly recommend the Inn if you are looking for a quirky, distinctive place with the feeling of a remote desert home. We will definitely be back.”

Desert Gem
“On a solo road trip across the Southwest to 14 National Parks, this was by far my favorite stay. Near Saguaro I wanted a quiet place outside Tucson to relax & enjoy the desert wilderness. The Inn was cozy, welcoming, and full of Southwest charm. My room was spotless, comfortable & updated with modern finishes. Each room has its own funky Southwestern theme. The art & decor is all hand-chosen by the owner, so it had a very personal touch. The Inn is situated beneath Cat Mountain, so the sunset views were stunning & the outdoor area was perfect on a desert evening. There is a great breakfast cafe across the street that was full of locals for a reason. I would go out of my way to stop here again.”

What a Great Beautiful Place to Stay
“I never dreamed it would be so amazing. Woke up to a herd of deer running through the desert — so breathtaking. Very secluded and our innkeeper Joy was such a nice person and a pleasure to meet. If you get the chance, book your stay here. You will not regret it.”

Hidden Gem
“We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Cat Mountain Lodge & Roadside Inn. The place is decorated in a beautiful Southwestern/Mexican style. We stayed in the Frida room, but were given a tour of the other rooms as we were the only guests the first night. Each room is uniquely decorated and very cool. There is a large kitchen with a full size fridge and common area available for all the guests to use, The grounds are phenomenal in all directions. There are so many unusual pieces of art in the gardens and many beautiful places to hang out and enjoy the desert landscape with a glass of wine after a full day hiking. The vouchers allow you to have either breakfast or lunch in the Coyote Pause Restaurant, both of which were delicious. The staff at both the Inn and the restaurant were super friendly and accommodating.”

Splendid Lodging!
“All of our accommodations were excellent, comfortable, & spacious. We ate many of our meals at the guest house & were delighted to find that the well-appointed kitchen provided all (except for food) that we needed. For those who love nature, the lodge was a perfect spot...”
